Job summary

Plug Power Inc. in Dayton, OH is seeking a Field Service Technician I to support fuel cell systems in customer sites.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs, operate and upgrade fielded units, and report incidents and service logs with accuracy. The role requires 3+ years of mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, a valid driver's license, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and strong communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• 3+ years direct experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and operate a motor vehicle safely.
• Knowledge of lift truck operation and applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting and evaluations to maintain the fleet.
• Field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• Provide emergency support and report incidents with service logs.
• Procure tools, equipment and parts; communicate with customers.
