Job summary

Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support fuel cell products in electric lift trucks at a dedicated location. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose breakdowns, and report issues while working closely with customer personnel and operators.

The role requires strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. On-site fieldwork and occasional travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three or more years of direct experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Valid driver license and clean driving record required.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly; lift truck knowledge preferred.
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to maintain the fleet at a location.
• Field retrofits, software and hardware upgrades for existing fuel cells.
• Provide on-call and emergency support as required.
• Purchase tools, equipment, and parts for customer service and support.
