Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Representative in Middleburg, FL to serve as the first contact for patients, guiding them through registration and check-in with compassion and accuracy.

You’ll work across multiple systems, answer calls, verify insurance details, collect co-pays, and help patients navigate care while coordinating with nurses and care teams. Training is provided and growth opportunities exist within the organization.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service experience and communication skills.
• Ability to stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
• Experience with patient access, medical registration, insurance verification, or front desk is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients and families with the check-in process across multiple computer systems.
• Answer phones and gather accurate patient information quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Support timely access to care by minimizing delays in registration with confidence and compassion.
• Navigate insurance plans, enter demographics, collect co-pays, and provide cost estimates.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
