Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Patient Access Representative to provide fast, compassionate access to care. You will register patients, verify information, and communicate clearly with families and care teams.

You’ll work across systems to minimize delays, collect co-pays, and support hospital operations. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth in patient access and revenue cycle processes.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills expected.
• Experience in patient access, medical registration, insurance verification, or front desk is a plus.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and enter demographics accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients and families with the check-in process across multiple computer systems.
• Answer phones and gather accurate patient information quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Support timely access to care by minimizing delays in registration and answering questions with clarity and compassion.
• Navigate insurance plans, enter demographics and medical data, collect co-pays and provide estimates when applicable.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
