Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Representative for the Emerald Coast location to provide frontline patient access and registration services. You will work across multiple hospital systems to register patients efficiently, answer inquiries, and collect co-pays as needed.

In this role you will collaborate with care teams, support insurance verification, and help ensure timely access to care. Training is provided, and the position offers a path for growth within a patient-access focused

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients and families with the check-in process across multiple computer systems.
• Answer phones and gather accurate patient information quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Support timely access to care by minimizing delays in registration and answering questions clearly.
• Navigate diverse insurance plans and coverage details, enter demographics and medical data, collect co-pays and provide cost estimates when applicable.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
