Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a frontline Operations Supervisor to ensure safe and efficient package sortation and manage an assigned staff. You will lead daily operations, train staff, and enforce FedEx policies and safety programs.

The role includes coaching, performance management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet service goals. Strong MS Office skills and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months experience in package handling in a fast-paced environment (retail, hospitality, fulfillment center, warehouse, dock).
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating with teams to meet performance metrics.
• Ability to mentor and develop staff and provide coaching and feedback.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present to small and large groups.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach package handlers to ensure safe, efficient sortation.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with FXG policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and communicate daily goals and updates.
