Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead frontline staff and ensure safe, efficient package sortation. You will manage and coach a team of Package Handlers and possibly administrative employees, implementing safety initiatives and performance improvements.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to adapt to changing business needs while upholding FedEx policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Six months of supervisory or shipping/fulfillment experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required depending on experience.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills for daily meetings and updates.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a staff of Package Handlers and administrative employees.
• Ensure safe and efficient package sortation and operational processes.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct, and control day-to-day operations.
• Coach, train, and evaluate staff; manage performance and discipline as needed.
• Analyze performance metrics and implement improvement actions.
• Lead daily meetings to communicate goals and updates to the team.
• Maintain adherence to FedEx FXG policies, safety programs, and regulatory requirements.
