Federal Express Corporation is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a frontline team and ensure safe, efficient package sortation. You will manage staff, implement FedEx policies, and drive continuous improvement in key metrics.

Key duties include coaching, training, performance management, and resolving customer service issues while maintaining a strong emphasis on safety and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate's Degree in related area or 2+ years of college courses toward a degree.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a champion for FedEx's Safety Above All Culture and support related initiatives.
• Management responsibilities include hiring, terminations, coaching, training, recognition and rewards, performance evaluation and management, discipline, and staff productivity.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage employees to ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages; move, track and manage trailers with the linehaul dept as applicable.
• Analyze operational performance and determine opportunities for improvement; execute action plans to achieve results.
• Lead daily staff meetings to communicate updates and daily goals; perform public speaking to diverse audiences.
• Participate in development and administration of employee relations strategies and safety programs.
• Investigate and resolve customer service issues; escalate when needed.
• Train new employees on job duties, performance expectations, and FXG policies and training requirements.
• Mentor and develop critical skills for new or junior Operations Supervisors.
• Adapt to change and maintain urgency while engaging staff positively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
