Qualifications

• College degree required.
• 2 years FedEx sort operations or senior level hourly role experience OR,
• 2 years supervisory experience in related industry
• Must possess valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• Ability to complete all basic and recurrency training (DG certification)
• Ability to mentor, coach, and act as a knowledge resource to other employees
• Ability to inspire a shared vision and empower and motivate a team
• Ability to prioritize and delegate in a time-sensitive manner
• Addresses and resolves conflict management
• Communicates clearly with empathy
• Seeks to simplify processes while ensuring quality
• Takes accountability for department failure and finds solutions

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide employees in proper package handling, routing and recovery of potential service failures.
• Oversee all Cargo Handlers functions and direction of work activities.
• Mentor, coach and train staff to ensure FXE policies and regulations are followed.
• Ensure safety culture and drive accountability within the station sort function.
• Coordinate with team to address service interruptions and improve process efficiency.
