Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. seeks a Frontline Leader for HomeGoods Lyndhurst to promote a highly-satisfied customer experience and mentor Associates on register transactions and frontline execution.

You’ll adapt to multiple store areas, reinforce company policies, and help drive team and individual results while ensuring safety and operational standards. Applicants should be able to lift heavy merchandise, work a flexible schedule, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent degree preferred.
• Available to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Able to work as a team member.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service ability.
• Able to lift heavy merchandise with/without accommodations.
• Able to train and provide direction to others.
• Able to run a register and handle money.
• Discretion handling confidential information.
• Retail/supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a highly-satisfied customer experience.
• Drives customer loyalty through programs and initiatives.
• Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly.
• Trains and mentors Associates on policies and procedures.
• Manages cash controls and change funds.
• Assigns registers and coordinates breaks for coverage.
• Maintains merchandising standards and frontline cleanliness.
• Monitors frontline equipment and communicates issues.
• Adheres to labor laws, meal and break policies.
• Supports store directives and loss prevention policies.
