HomeGoods at The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Retail Associate to promote a highly satisfied customer experience and support frontline operations in Fairfax, VA. You will help train Associates, manage register duties, and ensure adherence to policies while contributing to a welcoming store environment.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, flexibility in schedule, and the ability to lift merchandise as needed, with prior retail or supervisory experience viewed favorably.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Available to work evenings and weekends.
• Able to work as part of a team and provide direction to others.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Able to lift heavy merchandise and handle money at the register.
• Experience in a coordinator or retail supervisory role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a highly satisfied customer experience and drives loyalty.
• Trains and mentors Associates on frontline policies and procedures.
• Assigns registers, coordinates breaks, and ensures coverage on sales floor.
• Maintains cash controls and properly handles transactions.
• Upholds merchandising standards and safety policies.
• Addresses customer concerns promptly and communicates feedback to leadership.
