Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with related public contact experience.
• Two years paraprofessional or clerical public contact experience or one year in income maintenance.
• Higher education may substitute part or all of the experience.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers entering DSS to the appropriate programs or staff.
• Provide community information and resources about DSS services.
• Screen and direct external customers and internal visitors.
• Assist with updating information and assembling eligibility applications.
• Assist with PO Box mail tasks.
• Help customers obtain a fishing license.
