Hanger Clinic in Rapid City, SD seeks a Front Office Clerk to ensure a seamless patient experience at the front desk. You will greet patients, handle check-ins, process payments, and coordinate appointments.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, under one year of related experience, receptionist or medical front office background, plus strong communication and computer skills. A valid driver’s license is required for this public-facing role.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Less than one year of customer service, administrative or related experience required.
• Experience in a receptionist position or medical front office procedures preferred.
• Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver's license and driving record within Hanger's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and assist patients at front desk with wait times and inquiries.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance during check-in; handle walk-in registrations.
• Collect patient payments, including deductibles, copays, and coinsurance at the front desk.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments, including cast and measure, delivery, and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as a liaison for clinic services, offering information on patient experience programs and resources.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to obtain necessary patient information.
• Ensure accurate and complete electronic health records for all patients.
