Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. is seeking a Patient Services Advocate to warmly welcome patients and manage the front office, creating a positive experience while directing expectations with compassion and respect.

The Advocate collaborates with the health care team to deliver patient-centered care and to demonstrate exemplary communication and problem-solving abilities; bilingual proficiency is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience as a customer service agent, greeter, or receptionist - preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese strongly preferred.
• A valid BLS certification or higher per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and attend to the needs of all patients and create a positive front office experience.
• Assist in delivering patient-focused care with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
