Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator (PEC) to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance while delivering a seamless front-office experience across multiple clinics in Iowa and Illinois. The PEC reports to the Clinic Manager and collaborates with the Patient Experience Specialist to support revenue cycle performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Excellent customer service skills essential
• Experience with patient intake, insurance verification, and financial clearance preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver a welcoming front-office experience
• Complete patient intake and registration with demographics and eligibility checks
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets
• Manage clinic scheduling to optimize provider availability
• Use EMR systems and dashboards to track metrics and support improvements
• Coordinate communications with referral sources and clinical teams
• Participate in training and cross-training for front-office operations
