Job summary

Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance while delivering a seamless front-office experience. This role reports to the Clinic Manager and supports multiple clinics locally, including Iowa City and surrounding areas.

The PEC will educate patients on financial responsibilities, manage registrations, and monitor KPIs for accuracy and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience using EMR/EHR systems and scheduling tools is desirable.
• Ability to understand and explain insurance benefits and patient financials.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver an exceptional front-office experience.
• Complete patient intake/registration with accurate data and insurance details.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options.
• Collect payments and support revenue cycle targets.
• Manage scheduling workflows and support multiple clinics.
• Utilize EMR systems and dashboards to track data and performance.
