Hanger Clinic in Dayton, OH is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator to manage front desk operations, patient check-ins, and appointment scheduling. You will collaborate with clinical and revenue teams to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate record-keeping.

The role emphasizes customer service, administrative tasks, and basic medical office procedures, with a focus on a seamless patient experience and proper insurance details handling.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Talent Sorter assessment may be administered as part of the selection process.
• Less than one year of customer service or administrative experience required.
• Receptionist position or medical front office procedures preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients upon arrival and provide information at the front desk.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance during check-in; manage walk-ins.
• Collect patient payments including deductibles, copays, and coinsurance at the front desk.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments, including casts, measurements, and prosthetic care plans.
• Liaise for clinic services and provide information on patient experience programs and resources.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to obtain necessary patient information.
• Maintain accurate and complete electronic health records for all patients.
