Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced front-end team and ensure outstanding customer service at the registers. The role includes supervising cashiers, coordinating scheduling, and supporting store operations with a strong emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

The ideal candidate brings 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training, excellent communication, and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong math and cash handling abilities; accurate with numbers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Provide excellent customer service at registers and assist with customer issues.
• Schedule and oversee meal/rest breaks in compliance with policy.
• Assist in hiring and training of new cashiers and reinforce standards.
• Maintain visibility for security and loss prevention at the front end.
