Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Head Cashier to supervise a team of cashiers and assist with daily store operations. You will guide Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks, ensuring top-notch customer service and smooth front-end performance.

The role requires leadership, reliable scheduling, and hands-on training of new staff, while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and promoting a safe, friendly shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or GED, and 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Provide direction/support to Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks with excellent customer service.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks per policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training of new Cashiers and address disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain security, cleanliness, and proper cash handling at front end.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a positive team culture.
