Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier who will lead a fast-paced front-end team, ensure excellent customer service at all registers, and supervise cashiers and courtesy clerks. You will coordinate scheduling, assist with hiring and training, and uphold store standards in a dynamic retail setting.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years cashiering with leadership training, solid cash handling, and reliable flexibility.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in cashiering and leadership is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong math and cash-handling skills; friendly, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks to ensure excellent customer service.
• Monitor cash register supplies and schedule breaks per policy and state law.
• Maintain cleanliness standards in restrooms and parking lots; ensure security at exits.
• Assist in hiring and training of new cashiers; take disciplinary actions as needed.
• Flexibly adapt to a fast-paced environment and lead by example.
