Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced frontline team and ensure exceptional customer service across the front end. You’ll supervise cashiers, coordinate breaks, and help train staff to uphold store standards.

The role requires 1–2 years cashiering experience with leadership training, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. A positive, customer-focused attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years cashiering experience and leadership training.
• Must be at least 18 and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Able to lift 30 lbs. and push carts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Proactively visit registers and provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks.
• Assist with customer assistance issues at the register.
• Schedule and oversee breaks in compliance with policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and disciplinary actions.
