Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to supervise a team of cashiers, ensure excellent customer service, and support store operations. The role requires leadership, reliability, and the ability to manage front-end activities in a fast-paced environment.

You will help with scheduling, training new cashiers, and maintaining accuracy in cash handling while upholding store standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a HS diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong math and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and courtesy clerks.
• Provide direction and support at registers to ensure great service.
• Assist with customer issues at the register.
• Schedule breaks and supervise adherence to policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and take disciplinary steps when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and security at exits and front-end areas.
