Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Team Captain – Endzone & Loyalty to coach store teammates, drive loyalty program engagement, and deliver fast, friendly checkout experiences while building strong athlete relationships.

You will lead loyalty initiatives, ensure excellent customer service, and partner with store leadership to maintain high standards of operation and athlete satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience.
• Previous retail/customer-facing experience required.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by providing clear, accurate product information and maintaining merchandising standards.
• Assist in developing 30-60-90 day plans to support department priorities and staffing needs.
• Manage workload and schedules to maintain smooth operations and payroll goals.
• Lead and develop teammates, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Enforce safety, loss prevention, and SOPs, ensuring compliance across the team.
