Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is looking for a Team Captain – Endzone & Loyalty to lead a store team, deliver outstanding athlete experiences, and drive loyalty initiatives. You will coach teammates, build strong athlete relationships, and ensure accurate checkout during peak times.

The role emphasizes coaching, accountability, and collaboration to win together on the sales floor and in loyalty program participation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience
• Previous retail/customer-facing experience required.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by anticipating athlete needs and providing clear, accurate, and knowledgeable information about products and assortment.
• Lead and develop store team to execute plans and drive loyalty programs; oversee front-end operations and checkout experiences.
• Communicate departmental goals, assign workload, and adjust staffing to meet athlete traffic and payroll goals.
• Build and lead a strong team, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance reviews, and accountability.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and SOPs and enforce policies and procedures.
