Job summary

TJ Maxx at The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a front-end leader to promote an excellent customer experience and oversee a team of Associates at the front of the store. You will ensure prompt, courteous service and active promotion of loyalty programs.

Role involves mentoring staff on front-end principles, managing POS coverage, and maintaining a clean, organized store. Flexibility to work nights and weekends is required, with a focus on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months leadership experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to train others and lead front-end associates.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a positive customer experience and loyalty programs.
• Oversees Associates at front of store and manages POS coverage.
• Trains and mentors Associates on front-end principles.
• Addresses customer concerns promptly and ensures a safe store.
• Ensures tasks align with store plan and communicates priorities.
• Promotes safety and adherence to labor laws.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Participates in shrink reduction goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
