The supervisor coordinates with the mailroom vendor, identifies process improvements, and supports department initiatives to boost productivity, quality, and customer service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in an operations, mailroom, document management, or production environment.
• 3+ years of experience managing employee performance and working with external vendors.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Willingness to travel up to 10% to East Lansing, MI or Plymouth, MN.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership and supervision for approximately 20 team members.
• Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings, coaching sessions, and performance discussions.
• Manage daily workloads for printing, returned mail processing, scanning, check processing, and indexing functions.
• Monitor operational performance, productivity, quality, and service-level expectations.
• Serve as primary contact for the mailroom vendor to ensure timely processing of incoming mail.
• Coordinate workload prioritization and resource allocation to meet business demands.
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Support audits, reporting, compliance, and departmental projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
