Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to meet minimum age requirements and physical requirements.
• Certified Food Safety Manager or willing to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Front End operations including Service Center, Self-Checkout and Food Lion To-Go.
• Hire, train, and develop associates to meet department needs.
• Supervise the performance of all duties and responsibilities of department associates; provide ongoing performance management and conduct timely appraisals.
• Provide leadership to promote a culture aligned with Food Lion Strategy.
• Support achievement of budgeted financials, operating results and KPIs.
• Maintain customer service excellence and a positive shopping experience.
