Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated good judgment solving problems and handling complaints.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements and be able to handle physical requirements.
• Accreditation as a Certified Food Safety Manager or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Front End operations including Service Center and Self-Checkout.
• Hire, train, and develop associates to meet department needs.
• Supervise performance and provide ongoing coaching and appraisals for direct reports.
• Provide leadership to promote a culture aligned with Food Lion Strategy.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and key KPIs to support financial goals.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and security standards across the department.
• Ensure proper use of company tools and reporting systems.
