Amrize is seeking a Loader Operator for its Bladensburg, MD location. The role requires safely operating front-end loaders to load, move, and stockpile rock and aggregate materials on site.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma and has 3+ years of loader experience in quarry, aggregate, mining, or heavy construction settings. Compensation is hourly, with full-time benefits and opportunities to contribute to infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hands-on front-end loader experience, preferably operating large-capacity loaders in a quarry, aggregate, mining, or heavy construction environment.
• Previous experience operating front-end loaders, preferably in the aggregate, quarry, or construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders safely and efficiently to load, transport, and stockpile aggregate materials.
• Load trucks, feeders, hoppers, and conveyors with sand, gravel, stone, and other materials.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and identify mechanical or safety issues before operation.
• Maintain proper stockpile locations, material separation, and safe working areas.
• Operate equipment according to production schedules and supervisor instructions.
• Monitor material quality and prevent contamination between different aggregate products.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, including greasing, cleaning, and fluid checks.
• Communicate effectively with truck drivers, plant operators, and site supervisors.
• Follow all company safety procedures, traffic rules, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while meeting production, safety, and equipment-efficiency goals.
• Perform general labor, housekeeping, cleanup, and other site duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
