Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Loader Operator at our Bladensburg, MD location to load, move, and stockpile rock and aggregate materials. The role requires safe operation of front-end loaders, daily inspections, and coordination with truck drivers and site staff.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of loader experience in mining/construction environments, with a strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of hands-on front-end loader experience, preferably in quarry/aggregate/mining environments.
• Experience loading trucks and handling aggregate materials.
• Ability to perform daily equipment inspections and identify mechanical issues.
• Strong communication with drivers, operators and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders safely and efficiently to load, transport, and stockpile materials.
• Load trucks, feeders, hoppers, and conveyors with sand, gravel, stone, and other materials.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and identify mechanical or safety issues.
• Maintain stockpile locations and ensure material separation.
• Follow production schedules and safety rules; communicate with site staff.
• Perform general labor and site housekeeping as required.
