Job summary

Amrize seeks a Loader Operator at our Bladensburg, MD location to safely operate heavy equipment, load and stockpile aggregate materials, and support daily operations. The role emphasizes adherence to safety protocols and efficient material handling on-site.

Candidates should have 3+ years of front-end loader experience, DST in a quarry or similar environment, and be able to work outdoors in varying weather while coordinating with drivers and plant staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of hands-on front-end loader experience, preferably in quarry/aggregate/mining or heavy construction.
• Ability to perform daily equipment inspections and identify issues.
• Experience loading trucks and handling aggregate materials efficiently.
• Strong stockpile management, material separation and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders safely and efficiently to load, transport, and stockpile aggregate materials.
• Load trucks, feeders, hoppers, and conveyors with sand, gravel, stone, and other materials.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and identify mechanical or safety issues before operation.
• Maintain proper stockpile locations, material separation, and safe working areas.
• Communicate with truck drivers, plant operators, and site supervisors; follow safety procedures.
