Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Front End Lead to oversee front end operations and drive exceptional customer service at our Chambersburg, IL location. You will lead front end associates, train new hires, and ensure accurate cash handling and checkout processes.

Responsibilities include supervising cashiers, managing layaway transactions, optimizing product visibility, and coordinating with teams to ensure a smooth BOPIS experience. Strong communication and Microsoft Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of retail cashier or retail supervisory experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong math skills for accurate cash handling.
• Demonstrated ability to thoroughly review and analyze information to maintain high accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills to direct staff and serve customers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front end operations and checkout process with a focus on exceptional customer service.
• Train new front end associates and oversee their development.
• Oversee cashier transactions and layaway processes including monthly audits.
• Educate customers on programs like loyalty, RK Visa, and RK Plus Protection Plan (RKPPP).
• Ensure smooth front-end operations by assisting cashiers and managing registers.
