Job summary

Rural King seeks a Front End Lead to oversee our front end operations and ensure an exceptional checkout experience for customers. You will train and develop front end associates, supervise cashier transactions, and safeguard accurate cash handling during daily operations.

You will promote awareness of store programs and company policies while maintaining a professional and friendly front-line presence. This role requires flexibility to cover varied shifts in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of retail cashier or retail supervisory experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong math skills for accurate cash handling.
• Demonstrated ability to thoroughly review and analyze information, identifying errors or inconsistencies to maintain high levels of accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills to implement policies and procedures, direct staff, and provide customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and leadership to front end operations with a strong focus on exceptional customer service.
• Train new front end associates and oversee their development.
• Oversee cashier transactions and customer service desk layaway transactions including monthly layaway audits.
• Educate cashiers on loyalty programs and company offerings such as RK Visa and RK Plus Protection Plan.
• Oversee the Buy Online Pick Up in Store (BOPIS) process and store fulfillment and customer pickups.
• Execute accurate cash management, returns, layaways, exchanges, and price dispute resolutions.
