Job summary

Rural King in Logansport, IN seeks a Front End Lead to oversee front end operations with a strong focus on customer service. You will train associates, supervise cashiers, manage the checkout process, and ensure accurate cash handling, layaways, returns, and store audits.

Responsibilities include helping with BOPIS, price disputes, tax-exempt plans, loss prevention, daily deposits, and coordinating with Outside Recover Associates as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of retail cashier or retail supervisory experience.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong math skills for accurate cash handling.
• Ability to review information for accuracy and identify errors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to direct staff and serve customers.
• Commitment to customer service and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and leadership to front end operations with focus on customer service.
• Train new front end associates and oversee their development.
• Oversee cashier transactions and customer service desk layaway transactions including audits.
• Empower cashiers to use cashier scripts and educate them on loyalty programs and RK PPP.
• Run a register when needed to keep front-end operations smooth.
• Manage margins, tax-exempt plans, returns, exchanges, and price disputes.
