Qualifications

• At least 3 years of retail cashier or retail supervisory experience.
• Strong math and cash-handling accuracy.
• Excellent communication to train staff, direct policy, and assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead front end associates and oversee the checkout process for efficiency and service.
• Oversee cashier transactions and layaway activity, including monthly audits.
• Use cashier scripts and inform customers about loyalty programs and protections.
• Support cashiers by running a register and ensuring smooth front-end operations.
• Maintain display and organization to optimize product visibility.
• Communicate professionally with teammates and customers.
• Assist with BOPIS processes and store fulfillment.
• Complete daily banking and safe audits; manage paperwork.
• Participate in cross-training and internal learning initiatives.
• Monitor shrink and respond to cash shortages with corrective actions.
