Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Horsham, PA seeks a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced front-end team and deliver outstanding customer service. You will supervise cashiers, assist with operational issues, and ensure smooth register operations across shifts.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of cashier experience with leadership training, a friendly demeanor, strong numeracy, and the ability to multitask in a busy retail environment. Flexible schedule required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a HS diploma or GED and 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Excellent numeracy and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks.
• Monitor cash register supplies and maintain cleanliness in restrooms and parking lots.
• Maintain visibility of the exit doors for security and loss prevention.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks in compliance with policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training of new Cashiers and take steps for disciplinary actions.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to team success.
