Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced front-end team and deliver outstanding customer service. You will supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues, ensuring smooth register operations and a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include directing cashiers, handling customer concerns at the register, scheduling breaks, and participating in hiring and training. A friendly, detail-oriented leader who thrives under pressure is ideal.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years cashiering experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, with strong math and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to supervise cashiers and assist with training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure excellent customer service through supervising cashiers and directing staff.
• Assist in potential customer assistance issues at the register.
• Schedule store sweeps, monitor/maintain cash register supply levels and cleanliness standards in restrooms and parking lots.
• Maintain visibility of exit doors for security and loss prevention.
• Schedule and oversee breaks in compliance with company policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training of new Cashiers and take steps for disciplinary actions.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead by example.
