Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Front-end Supervisor in Sun City, AZ to help create an outstanding customer experience and maintain a safe, clean environment. You will support department goals, supervise front-end staff, and assist in budgeting and labor planning in collaboration with store management.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.

• Gain knowledge of products and respond to questions with suggestions.
• Monitor and control supply expenses for the department.
• Manage cash control, sales and cash records for the store.
• Schedule Front-end associates to ensure adequate department coverage.
• Assist in budgeting, P&L reviews and actioning financial reports.
• Create budgets and schedule labor with store management.
• Develop and implement department action plans to achieve results.
• Collaborate with Front-end staff and promote teamwork.
• Display a positive attitude.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and temperature controls.
• Maintain safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and report repairs.
• Notify management of accidents.
• Report safety risks or illegal activity.
• Follow local, state and federal laws and company guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
