Job summary

Kroger City Market in Colorado is seeking a Front-End Lead to supervise the department, support store management, and ensure exceptional customer service. You will help manage schedules, budgets, and daily front-end operations while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Ability to handle stressful situations.
Effective communication skills.
Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
Retail or Customer Service experience.

Responsibilities

Promote trust and respect among associates.
Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated.
Gain knowledge of products and respond to questions with suggestions.
Assist with monitoring and controlling supply expenses for the department.
Assist with managing cash control, sales, and cash records for the store.
Manage scheduling of Front-end associates for adequate department coverage.
Assist store management in budgets, P&L reviews, and action on financial reports.
Develop and implement department action plans to achieve results.
Collaborate with Front-end associates and promote teamwork.
Adhere to safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers.
