Job summary

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated by answering questions about products.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer inquiries.
• Monitor and control supply expenses for the department.
• Manage cash handling, sales and cash records for the store.
• Schedule Front-end associates to provide adequate department coverage.
• Assist management with budget, P&L reviews and action on financial reports.
• Develop and implement department action plans to achieve results.
• Collaborate with Front-end staff and promote teamwork.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain temperature logs.
• Report safety risks or incidents and identify unsafe conditions.
