Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Customer Service/Front End Dept Manager for the Hartland Twp, MI store. You will lead the front-end team, drive onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management to deliver excellent customer service and store results.

You will also shape staffing plans, engage in talent discussions, and ensure adherence to Meijer standards while driving safety, budget control, and process improvements across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• A passion to provide industry leading service.

Responsibilities

• Engages with team members to ensure onboarding, training and coaching for success.
• Identifies talent and supports staffing and leadership pipeline planning.
• Conversations with team members to uphold Meijer standards and growth.
• Oversees area operations and financial results to maximize sales and productivity.
• Drives safety and compliance and manages store conditions and scheduling.
• Ensures guidance and daily work assignments from Team Leaders and Leads.
• May perform other duties as assigned or required.
