Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Customer Service Specialist in Strongsville, OH to deliver a superior shopping experience. You will greet customers, understand their needs, and support front-end operations with strong product knowledge and brand standards.

Responsibilities include serving as the main customer service contact at the front, assisting with register coverage, and helping with scheduling, merchandising, and training.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and customers, proactively assess needs to support the shopping experience.
• Serve as primary customer service provider at the front end and liaison between customers and management.
• Provide register coverage as needed and assist cashiers with complex transactions.
• Assist manager with scheduling, directing workflow and daily assignments; monitor front-end presentation standards.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards with floor sets and price changes.
• Promote and train teammates on loyalty programs, warranty sales and card enrollment.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention and SOPs; maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe and respected.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
