Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Specialist in Minnesota to deliver outstanding shopping experiences by proactively assisting customers, maintaining brand standards, and supporting front-end operations.

You will greet customers and teammates, resolve questions, and help with register coverage as needed. The role emphasizes in-depth product knowledge, adherence to safety and loss prevention policies, and collaboration with management to maintain a welcoming store

Qualifications

Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).

Responsibilities

Greet teammates and customers and proactively understand their needs.
Serve as primary customer service provider at the front end and liaison between customers and management.
Provide register coverage and support cashiers with complex transactions.
Assist management with scheduling, directing workflow, and monitoring presentation standards.
Uphold merchandising and presentation standards and participate in training for programs.
