Job summary

Concord Hospitality is seeking a front desk supervisor for our Jersey City location. You will provide high-quality guest service, check guests in and out, manage mail and messages, and uphold brand and Concord standards. You will lead a small front desk team, develop knowledge of rooms, rates, and amenities, handle reservations and special requests, and participate in security procedures.

Qualifications

• Open availability including AM, PM, and overnight shifts.
• Front desk supervisor leads a cohesive team delivering excellent service while upholding brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out efficiently and pleasantly.
• Handle guest mail and messages per established procedures.
• Develop knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, rates, amenities, and selling strategies.
• Take reservation requests efficiently.
• Answer switchboard with proper telephone etiquette.
• Block rooms and handle special requests.
• Monitor room availability and assist with yield management.
• Be familiar with emergency and security procedures.
• Keep lobby and desk area clean and presentable.
