Job summary

Aria Health Physician Services seeks a Patient Services Associate (PSA) I to enhance the patient and visitor experience at the front desk of an outpatient practice. You will verify insurance, referrals, and demographic information to maintain smooth patient flow and timely examination room access.

The role emphasizes courteous treatment of all patients and adherence to Jefferson Health standards in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities including check-in/out and appointment

Qualifications

• Must communicate courteously with patients/visitors.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with Jefferson values.
• Processes check in/check out, scheduling of patient appointments via EPIC.
• Greets and interacts with patients/visitors in a professional manner, on phone or in person.
• Maintains efficient flow of practice and escalates patient/provider concerns as appropriate.
• Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security requirements; complies with applicable regulatory standards.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.
