SAC Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative to manage front-desk duties, verify patient information, collect payments, and schedule visits. This role requires strong communication, bilingual abilities, and EPIC proficiency, with a focus on accurate data entry and patient-friendly service.

The PSR will support the clinic by ensuring smooth patient flow, accurate registration, and adherence to privacy policies, while delivering exceptional customer service across all locations in the

Formación

• Requires EPIC certification for the module hired into.
• Six months of customer service or healthcare office experience.
• Experience with insurance verification/eligibility (e.g., Medi-Cal, Medicare) preferred.
• Working knowledge of electronic health records and EPIC preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and assist patients at check-in and check-out.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance eligibility; attach correct program.
• Collect copays and post charges; cashiering and daily reconciliation.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow per center procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance; handle confidential data.
