Job summary

Jefferson Health Plans is seeking a Patient Services Associate (PSA) I to enhance the patient experience by greeting, verifying demographics, insurance, and referrals at the front desk of an outpatient practice. Qualifications

• Ability to communicate courteously with patients and/or visitors.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff in line with Jefferson values.
• Processes check in and/or check out, scheduling of patient appointments via EPIC.
• Greets and interacts with patients/visitors in a professional manner, in person or by phone.
• Maintains efficient flow of the practice and escalates concerns as needed.
• Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security requirements and all regulatory standards.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.
