Jefferson Health Plans seeks a Patient Services Associate I to join the outpatient practice front desk. The role handles check-in/check-out, verifies insurance and referrals, and updates patient demographics to ensure smooth patient flow.

We emphasize courteous patient interactions, HIPAA compliance, and efficient handling of appointments. This position supports the Jefferson Experience by delivering prompt, respectful service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Must be able to communicate courteously with patients and/or visitors.
• Willingness to provide and support a positive Jefferson Experience for all patients and/or visitors.
• Ability to complete multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Responsabilidades

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Processes check in and/or check out, point of service activities and/or scheduling of patient appointments via EPIC.
• Greets and interacts with patients/visitors in a professional manner, on phone or in person.
• Maintains efficient flow of practice and escalates patient and/or provider concerns as appropriate.
• Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security requirements. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.
