Jefferson Health is seeking a Patient Services Associate I to enhance the patient experience by efficiently handling arrival and departure activities at the front desk of an outpatient practice. The role verifies insurance, referrals, and patient demographics to ensure a smooth flow of visits.

Primary responsibilities include greeting patients, check-in/check-out via EPIC, and maintaining confidentiality while upholding Jefferson's service standards and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Must be able to communicate courteously with patients and/or visitors.
• Willingness to provide and support a positive Jefferson Experience for all patients and/or visitors.
• Ability to complete multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Responsabilidades

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Processes check in/out, scheduling of patient appointments via EPIC.
• Greets and interacts with patients/visitors in a professional manner, on phone or in person.
• Maintains efficient flow of practice and escalates concerns as appropriate.
• Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
• Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.
