Hanger, Inc. is seeking a friendly front desk receptionist to ensure a seamless patient experience at our Illinois clinics. You will greet patients, verify insurance and demographics, and handle payments at the front desk while coordinating follow-up appointments and supporting prosthetic care planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Less than one year of customer service, administrative or related experience.
• Experience in a receptionist position or medical front office preferred.
• Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk, providing information on wait times and inquiries.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance details during check-in; handle walk-in registrations.
• Collect patient payments including deductibles, copays and co-insurance at the front desk.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments, including cast and measure, delivery and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as a liaison for clinic services, offering information on patient experience programs and resources.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to obtain necessary patient information.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records for all patients.
